For Level Design and Game Architecture, this team made this grey box as a way to show off two main patterns. This game is meant to be about the player getting ready for an interview. They need to get the clothes around the room and explore the life of this character.


Controls: WASD or Arrow Keys to move, E to pick up, Left Control to crouch


General Narrative:

In this level, you are playing a character who is just about to go in for a job interview. This would be somewhat of an early level as you are still getting to know the character. The whole game would probably be about this character’s life.

In this level, you are picking up clothes from off the floor to put them in your closet. Throughout the level, you can observe elements of the room, like pictures, to get a clearer picture of who this person is. Their furniture is basic, hinting that they are not the wealthiest of characters and live in a somewhat smaller apartment.

Then after you have picked up the clothes, you have the mirror where you can try on the clothes. You will have the decision to choose the outfit the character ultimately ends up wearing. This is a job that the character wants and hopes will be able to change their life around. So the player feels the importance of the outfit, but they are also allowed to make the choices giving them not only more of an attachment to the character, but they are more immersed in the game.
